THE COMBO ADI CHOPRA-SHAHRUKH HAS GIVEN A DILWALE... , A MOHABATEIN AND THIS IS THEIR THIRD AND LATEST OFFERING AFTER 8 YEARS!
ANALYSIS::
Asual a yash raj film has a thin story-line presented in a grand way!
RAB NE BANA DI JODI showcases a simple man SURI SAHNI(SHAH RUKH) and his wife(ANUSHKA SHARMA) love story in a cinematic way! IT follows all the bollywood masala film rules and entertains for 2 hours 50 minutes! THE film has a good concept and energy of shahrukh is presented in a nice way! NO logic only magic is the usp here!There are many funny incidents and good dialogues but we feel something missing till end but once again at the end everything comes back to it's own and film leaves us on a high!
PERFORMANCES::
SHAHRUKHKHAN acted the main protagnoist SURI SAHNI every well and as RAJ he was good and imitated quite a lot actors (mainly akshay kumar)!HE carried the film on his shoulders very well!
ANUSHKA SHARMA showed a lot of potential and if she works on emotions she will be in top notch for sure! VINAY PATHAK had a good role and made use of it to the core!!!!
TECHNICALITIES::
STORY-SCREENPLAY-DIALOGUES-DIRECTION:: departments have been handled by ADI CHOPRA!
Screenplay is good but lacks logic like always!!! Dialogues are very good! Direction some times great and sometimes up to mark!!!! Still it's an average job!
MUSIC and BACKGROUND SCORE:: SALIM-SULEIMAN gave a good music and an equally good b.g.!they had done their job well!
CINEMATOGRAPHY:: Camera work by Ravichandran needs a special mention!!!! great job from him!
EDITING:: Could have been better! IT goes with the mood of the film simple but some could been trimmed much more!
SUMMARY::
THE basic point of the story is good and by people's response they liked the presentation part well! DON'T miss the jokes like DHOOM-3,SUMO FIGHT !!!! BOTH well etched and hilarious!
ON the whole a good film! THE performances are the major high-lights!
WE can't always expect a DIWALE....... so we can stick with this for now and expect a DILWALE..... NEXT TIME!
