Maryada Ramanna --Good to watch!!

Maryada Ramanna, a film by S.S.RAJAMOULI. 

I didn't expect much from the movie as I advised not to by my friends who saw it earlier. I am happy that Rajamouli came up with a different film from his routine stories. This is totally a director movie, as there are no stars in this movie. Sunil is a very known comedian but not sure he can carry off a film on his shoulders.

Here Rajamouli acted smart by offering a comedy after a big blockbuster Maghadheera. He took a wafer-thin concept and presented it well. But in promotions, he quoted this would be an out and out comedy film but comedy in this movie fall short of our expectations.


Every next scene and move can be expected but was executed in such a fine manner that we don't loose our attention of the proceedings.

About ACTORS:

Sunil and Naginedu played their roles very well.
Saloni was adequate. 
Rest all others contributed well. Ravi teja's voice-over for the cycle is a nice improvisation.

About CREW:

S.S Kaanchi wrote story and dialogues for the film. As i said earlier it's a wafer-thin story, so nothing to talk about it. Dialogues were good but needed some more finesse.   Nothing to remember, really.


Cinematography/DOP done by  Ramprasad was very good.


Art department needs a special mention for the house set which forms a character in the film.

Music and Bgm by M.M.Keervani was very good and lifted the mood when necessary.

Screenplay and Direction by S.S.Rajamouli was very good. He was able engage audience through the proceedings.

The Last Line:

Film is on the whole a nice entertainer. Nice for a Week-end time pass.

Don't expect a Laugh riot tough.
